American Chamber of Commerce in Russia
The American Chamber of Commerce in Russia (AmCham) promotes favorable investment conditions in the Russian Federation for western business. It endorses solutions to trade and investment issues that protect and benefit members' interests, supports greater cooperation between western companies and their Russian partners, and provides timely and accurate information on the Russian market.
Founded in 1994, AmCham has chapters in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Its members include over 650 companies and 1000 professionals. Chamber members may access a network of business contacts, member-to-member discounts, updates on business trends, and extensive advocacy and policy programs.

Carana Corporation/USAID Transformation Toolkit for Accounting Systems
The "Transformation tool-kit" methodology was successfully used to transform the financial statements of 25 Russian enterprises into statements which comply with International Accounting Standards (IAS). This methodology provides a cost effective alternative that will allow one to restate the financial statements prepared in accordance with Russian Statutory Accounting Methodology (RSA) into those that are in substantial compliance with International Accounting Standards (IAS).

The Center for Institutional Reform and the Informal Sector (IRIS)
IRIS helps government, business and civil society create and implement reforms that increase market-oriented economic growth and strengthen democratic procedures. It offers advice, technical assistance, research, and direct financial support to groups seeking to improve laws, rules, and procedures related to creating competitive markets in developing and transitional economies. Programs in Russia include: Broadening Access and Strengthening Input Markets Systems (BASIS); Training of Bailiffs; Small and Medium Business Support Networks; Entrepreneurial Business Services in the Russian Far East and Siberia; Strengthening for Economic Think Tanks. IRIS is part of the Department of Economics at the University of Maryland, near Washington, DC. IRIS has conducted research and advised policy makers in 61 developing and transition countries.

The U.S.-Russia Business Forum is a nonprofit educational organization devoted to strengthening public understanding of the political, economic and security issues in the US-Russian relationship.
