"Crisis Centers for Women" Support Program

Initiative for Social Action and Renewal in Eurasia (ISAR)
ISAR is a nonprofit organization with offices in Washington, DC and six cities in the former Soviet Union. ISAR maintains a clearinghouse to help connect people and information; administers small grants programs, providing financial support to FSU organizations for concrete, local projects; and provides trainings and consultations on such topics as fundraising, organizational development and media relations.

Center for NGO Support
The Center for NGO Support assists the development of NGOs (nongovernmental organization) by conducting training events, providing consultations and disseminating information throughout Russia and the CIS. Services include: consultations on organizational development issues; information services, and training seminars on NGO organizational development. The Center for NGO Support was created by the Moscow field office of World Learning (an American NGO) in June 1997.
