Delegation of the European Commission in Russia
This site of the Delegation of the European Commission in Russia contains information about the European Union and its institutions, its 15 member states and the EU's Tacis. Note the link to the Europa site and additional information in the eleven European languages. The Tacis Programme is the European Union's initiative for Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia, which fosters the development of harmonious and prosperous economic and political links between the European Union and these partner countries. Tacis supports partner countries' initiatives to develop societies based on political freedoms and economic prosperity by providing grant finance for know-how to encourage the process of transition to market economies and democratic societies.

The Russia Donors' Forum
The Russia Donors' Forum is an informal coalition of representatives of private and public grant makers working in Russia. The Forum promotes the development of a democratic civil society and private enterprise in Russia by enhancing the effectiveness of funder activities through networking and cooperation, information sharing, and collaborative initiatives among active grant makers.
The Forum includes representatives of private foundations, bilateral donors, international organizations, governmental assistance agencies, and technical assistance implementers. It was founded in 1996 and now includes organizations interested in economic reform, human and civil rights, environment and health issues, education, culture, and legal reform.
