FINCA International
FINCA (The Foundation for International Community Assistance), launched in 1984, now serves 121,120 borrowers through approximately 6,092 Village Banking groups. FINCA's mission is to support the economic and human development of families trapped in severe poverty. To do this, it creates "village banks": peer groups of 10 to 50 members, predominantly women.

The Institute for the Economy in Transition
The Institute for the Economy in Transition is the leading Russian center for research in theoretical and applied economics, strategies for economic development of the country, and recommendations on specific economic policies. The Institute combines fundamental research with practical recommendations for the whole range of governmental agencies at the federal, regional and local levels. The Institute was established in 1990 as an independent nonprofit organization. The Director of the Institute is Yegor T. Gaidar.

Russia Economics Research Program
The Economics Education and Research Consortium (EERC) was created in 1995 to strengthen economics education and research capabilities, initially in Russia and Ukraine. The Consortium's program in Russia focuses on individual grants, training and technical assistance to Russian economists engaged in original policy-oriented research, with a complementary publication and dissemination program for EERC-sponsored research. The site has links to research on transitional economies and Eastern Europe in general. The Consortium's programs are administered by the Eurasia Foundation.

The Foundation for International Accounting in Russia is a private, nonprofit organization promoting professional training, research, exchange, and knowledge dissemination in the area of international accounting practice.
It goals include: advocating acceptance of internationally recognized accounting standards; supporting Russian accounting reform; improving communication between Western investors and their Russian partners; training of Russian accounting professionals in the international accounting principles; promoting cooperation between accounting professional organizations in Russia and the West.
