AA Paige Alexander Speaks at MDG-6 Forum in Moscow

(October 10-16) Assistant Administrator for Europe and Eurasia Paige Alexander had a visit in Moscow for high-level visits and meetings with USAID/Russia partners.

 Ms. Alexander also took part in Russia's first international conference on MDG-6, speaking on a panel discussion focusing on eradicating HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and other infectious diseases among women and girls in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. 

Ms. Alexander gave the keynote address at a USAID-hosted conference on public-private partnerships on October 13 and also marked the signing of a $50M partnership with Cisco in Russia.  In addition, she held meetings and discussions with civil society representatives, anti-corruption activists, and USAID project implementers from the North Caucasus region.
