On October 5-9, tennis star and YouthAIDS Ambassador Anna Kournikova visited Yekaterinburg, Gatchina, St. Petersburg and Moscow to highlight the importance of healthy lifestyles and HIV prevention among Russian youth.

The results of a two-year effort to develop Krasnoyarsk’s early assistance to families and children with special needs were presented to over 160 experts, practitioners, and government officials from nine Russian regions at a conference on September 22-23.

On September 21-22, the closing conference of the "Dialogue" Civil Society Support Project brought together more than 100 participants from 40 Russian regions.

The Russian Federal Forest Agency invited USAID to participate and award a special prize during the VI International Junior Forest Contest.

On September 16, the recently established Russian government agency "RosCooperation" organized a workshop with USAID support on "Sharing Russian and International Best Practices in Development Assistance."
