Internews Russia
Internews Russia is the Russian nonprofit organization working in collaboration with Internews offices in the US, Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa to support independent media. Its goal is to enhance worldwide tolerance and understanding. Internews programs assume that vigorous and diverse mass media form an essential cornerstone of an open society. Since 1992, Internews Russia has provided support to independent Russian television broadcasters and the Russian television industry as a whole. (Internews Russia's legal name is Autonomous Noncommercial Organization Internews or ANO Internews.)

National Association of TV & Radio Broadcasters (NAT)
National Association of TV & Radio Broadcasters (NAT) is a nonprofit trade association of state and commercial TV and radio companies in Russia. NAT members include 217 broadcast companies as of 28 May 1999, including national channels ORT, RTR, TV-Center, NTV, TV-6; large networks such as TNT, REN-TV, CTC, Prometey-AST; Radio 1, Radio Voice of Russia, Russkoye Radio; regional networks; and stations. All regions of Russia are represented. The NAT charter specifies that full membership is open to anyone holding a state license for broadcasting and who complies with legal and ethical norms of professional activity. NAT represents broadcasters in legislative and executive bodies, as well as a center of expertise and executive bodies, as well as a center of expertise and consultation for TV and radio companies.

The Foundation for Independent Radio Broadcasting provides unbiased, reliable and useful information in accordance with the best traditions of Russian and international journalism; promotes the development of Russian radio; and ensures the free dissemination of knowledge which allows the Russian people to better understand and evaluate the on-going processes and enable them to act in their own interests and in the interests of society. The Foundation for Independent Radio Broadcasting was organized in 1999 by "BBC MPM Ltd" as a new Russian non-commercial organization.

"Public review: Anatomy of Freedom of Speech in Russia" Project
The site presents a survey report which includes a description of survey techniques, final tables, maps and "profiles" of regional situations of mass media, as well as annexes demonstrating the efficiency of project and suggestions for its further development.
